Hello, friends. Not sure what we're going to talk about today, so here goes.

 

I recently listened to the first Unsouled book by Will Wight. It was fine. I'm trying to expose myself to a couple of different litrpg books as I'm working on my first attempt to write in the genre. I found Unsouled to be aggressively okay. I just started the first Dungeon Crawler Carl book last night and I appreciate the humor and pop culture references, but the guy reading the audiobook sounds like Patrick Warburton, and it's really throwing me off.

 

The VHL season cannot start soon enough. Not only am I anxious to see how my player does, of course, but I'm excited to see how the new line combinations work out in Toronto. Harry Callahan and Diego Machado retiring leaves a couple of massive offensive holes to fill, and I hope Shev can provide a healthy chunk of the solution. 

 

Randomly, I'll give a shoutout to some of my long time sim hockey friends in OrbitingDeath, BOOM, and Phil. All three of them have been consistently awesome for many years now, and I hope they know how much I appreciate them and their friendship.
