Picking my Super Coach team on the fly

Copy me at your own risk – my VHFL/Super Coach record in the 16-team era is patchy at best.
 

First thing is to see what the cheapest good goalie is. For 6 dollars we have D.C.'s Benson, Prague's Vencko, and London's Michaels, none of whom are going to be great. Vencko might turn out a 25-win season or so, but it's not worth the $1 saving when Deadpanda is right there for 7. We'll find a dollar to save elsewhere.
 

Seeing a lot of love for Boris Bone-Breaker on defence for 6 dollars, let's make a mental note of that. Mina and Skilton have made a very good start to the season and don't break the bank at $10 and $11 respectively. Mina is probably the slam dunk here as I nearly picked her in VHFL before deciding not to load up on Davos. We'll come back for Bone-Breaker – maybe there'll be a spare dollar for Groenvold after picking my forward trio.

 

So we've spent either $23 or $24 so far depending on the final defenceman pick, leaving $18 or $19 for my forwards. I looked at Mograine in VHFL so that's an easy pick for $6. Xhekajs Middletoe looks like he could have a decent season for $4 so we have $8 left. Toby Kadachi without a doubt. We are done here and we get Groenvold. Max TPE here I come.
