Greg_Di 1,049
The Los Angeles Stars continues to be in the race for the wildcard spot but they have now fallen behind by 10 points. "Were doing what we can but I just don't think we have the offense capability at the moment to catch up. Maybe something will happen at the trade deadline" Roger said "I think our Defense and Goalie situation is pretty settled but we just need someone with that scoring touch. Were 12th overall for goals for this season but 7th overall in goals against. That is one area we need to improve. We need to put more pucks in the net if we have any hope this season" While Lod Angeles has been playing significantly better then last season the lack of a true scoring all-star caliber forward has seen them fall behind in the race. With only 27 games left to go, it is now crunch time to see if the Stars can put together a late season win streak in order to have a chance at securing a wild card spot this season. "Everyone here wants that spot, its reachable, we just have to play our best hockey of the season" Roger concluded Scurvy 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/155905-la-falling-behind/ Share on other sites
