GM 334: Houston Bulls vs Saskatoon Wild

Final Score: HOU 5 - SSK 4

This game was a powerplay slug fest with a total seven goals being scored on the man advantage. Houston scored early with two unlikely goal scorers in Robin Sierra (18) on the powerplay and Natalia Nano (2). After Jack Jack was put in the box for Houston for interference, Egor Shomin (30) capitalized by getting a shot by goalie Bartholomew Lorequavius to cut the Houston lead to one. But just six seconds later, Gingy (30) put one past Wild goaltender Diego Adam to extend the Houston lead back to two. In the second period the Wild scored two powerplay goals to even the score. It was Lorenzo Mancini (28) and Chris Barbre (7) who scored. With it all tied up, Gingy (31) capitalized off of a Cj Daniels cross check to give the Bulls the lead. Later, when Houston was on the power play once again, Hunter s (33) put home an insurance goal that would prove to be vital. Because with under a minute to go, the league leading goal scorer Cj Daniels (49) struck once again. However, Saskatoon was unable to score in the last 48 seconds to give Houston the 5-4 win.

3 Stars:

1. Gingy (HOU)(2 Goals, 1 Assist, 3 Hits)

2. Feki Oha Kau (HOU)(2 Assists)

3. Egor Shomin (SSK)(1 Goal, 1 Assist, 1 Shot Blocked)

Feel like Cj Daniels and Hunter s deserved the 2nd and 3rd stars but they both had crucial penalties.

Game 333: Miami Marauders vs Philadelphia Reapers

Final: MIA 3 - PHI 5

Philadelphia came in thinking this game would be a free two points because they were playing the last place Marauders, but they had to fight. Joseph Poole (38) got them on the board early on the power play. Miami answered just over three minutes later with a power play goal of their own from Asahi Kiriguya (2). Less than four minutes later, Jakub Kovar (32) put the Reapers back in the lead on the powerplay. In the second period, Miami scored twice. The goals came from Lursa Duras (4) and Chase Breeze (9) with the latter being scored on the power play. In the third period, the Reapers didn't hold back. Joseph Poole (39,40) scored twice to complete the hat trick and Danny Ross (32) also scored. This game did show weaknesses for Philadelphia's goalie Tony Bob who let in 3 goals on only 18 shots. The Reapers will need him in peak for for the playoffs.

3 Stars:

1. Joseph Poole (3 Goals, 1 Hit)

2. Alto Red (3 Assists) (He also had 11 shots and 0 goals. Tough night for his finishing but he was a great teammate.)

3. Jakub Kovar (1 Goal, 1 Assist, 1 Hit)
