Game 21:

 Philadelphia Reapers vs. Las Vegas Aces 

 

Game 6, we are back in Vegas as the Aces held in Philly and now this best contested series of round 1 is really heating up. Its 3-2 but the Reapers have that lead off an OT Win, so this series could be 3-2 either way if you really think about a few bounces. 
Let's see if the referees are going to put a stamp on this game early to try and cut out the loose stick work or are they gonna let the kids play.
This gets off to a blistering start as Vegas gets into the Philly end and begins throwing pucks at Louis Burley who is getting his first start of the post season here in game 6, and he appears ready as he is tested early.
Players are really laying out on both sides of the ice, several shot blocks already Reapers are now peppering Brian S who was great in the last game, he coughs up a rebound on an ALTO RED shot and he bangs away at it as Gunnarson slides into the crease to help but ALTO Red lifts it up and over and the Reapers draw first Blood and are up 1-0. 
Right off the face off Tommy Longpre nearly gets beat and gets called for a Tripping penalty, Reapers dump the puck in and caught on the change as Brian S comes out to play the puck and flips it down to Jagger Bomb Jr who finds Raoul Cyr leaking out and Burley didn't have much of a chance there getting kind of left on an island against one of the leagues best and he finds the equalizer.
The game begins to settle down until an offensive faceoff win for the Reapers leads to Adam joy passing to Jackson Jeannot who fires a one timer misses the net but ALTO RED is there to bang one in on the door step and lift the reapers back up 2:1.
Then late in the period a coaches nightmare as the reapers add a 3rd of the period and Danny Ross fires a shot from the point, Rocco Serrano deflects it Dan bacle gets a helper and the Vegas crowd is stunned.

Period 2 is well underwear and its been relatively clean when Adam Joy gets called for a Hold, putting the Aces on the power play. Mathias Gunnerson tries a few odd angle shots before giving it up to Jagger Bomb Jr for his 1st of the playoffs and the deficit gets cut to 1.

Into the 3rd, Tommy Longpre gets caught with Lumber in the skates again, Finn Mercer gets the puck in the slot rips one off the pads and collects his own rebound to Tie it up and if we werent in the desert you'd swear it was an earthquake cause the building was vibrating at this point. We are going to OT in Vegas!

Matthias Gunnarson forces the refs to take the whistle out, called for a hook and even though this goal doesnt go down as a power play goal, as he was getting out of the box as it happened, that is the result.
We Get a pass from Jeannot into a  little back and forth from Tzesar and Kovar and the second pass back ends up in the net as he smashes the one timer home and the Reapers move with their second OT win of the series.
