Kisslinger 434
The King Finally Rests... It has been pretty bittersweet knowing that King Kisslinger is finally done after the Seattle Bears lost in game six to the Calgary Wranglers. I feel better seeing Calgary in the finals, knowing that we potentially lost to the Continental Cup Champions. I know this is their first time making it in quite a while, so hopefully they have a good series against Moscow, and may the best team win! I did not expect to have as much fun as I did with King Kisslinger, but towards the end of this career, I had the most fun I have had in the VHL in a long time. The locker rooms and teams I was a part of were the most fun and engaging in a long time! Shout out to Vancouver and Seattle, both of these teams brought back my energy and joy to the league, and I am thrilled to have won a cup with both of them. It Is Igor's Time!!! Igor and Halifax are on a bit of a crazy run right now, tied 2–2 in the VHLM finals against the red-hot Houston Bulls. Igor has been having quite a few solid games, netting a game winner and scoring the only goal for Halifax in their most recent loss. Chad Powers, our goalie, has been amazing. If we do win the championship, I feel like he should be the team MVP. I’m looking forward to both the VHLM and VHL drafts, This is going to be an exciting time as we get closer and closer to finding out where Igor is going to land. Especially after seeing the draft lottery and seeing which teams are picking in the top 5. I see that he is projected to be a top five pick in both drafts, which is cool because I’ve never been picked that high, you never know if I will go in the top 5 because some great members could jump up and some awesome first generation players who are putting in the effort to make their names known and become a top pick could make the jump. I feel like a major aspect that makes and keeps the VHL fun is the draft process. VHL is Love... VHL is Life... Seeing new members who get to experience the VHL and how it is for the very first time, and getting hooked like we all did at one point in time, is something I enjoy as well. It is a cool experience watching them because I’ve been in the VHL for almost 5 years now, and I know exactly how they feel. It feels like just yesterday I was making my first player! I don’t mind where Igor gets drafted and what number he gets taken with. I am game to play on any team, meet new people, or play with the same people I’ve played with before, I am just excited to be here. To me, it is a fun experience regardless! I’m looking forward to putting my all into this player and making Igor the best player that I have ever made. I have a very strong feeling this S99 class is going to be very good. Even though we have such a strong draft class after us, S100. I know that S100 is the deepest draft in a long time, but I know that some of these players in S99 are going to have fantastic careers and be star players for their respective teams!
