Eagles in world cup

Roger Eagles for the second year in a row has been selcted to represent Eastern Europe in the world cup. This year he is participating as the starter.

 

"It's always great to be selected to represent your country and we will be doing what we can to bring home a medal" Roger said "It will be a tough tourney but I think were capable of doing something in this tournament"

 

The last World Cup Eastern Europe lost in the Quarter finals to Team Western Europe and Roger did not start that game. Roger went 2-2 in round robin play.

 

"It's been two years since the last tournament and I think I am a better goalie now then I was two years ago so I should be able to help the team out more. I have also been given the reigns as a starter which will put me in a better groove game wise" Roger continued "After this tournament I probably only have one or two world cups left in me so if I want to get a medal, now is the time to shine"

 

Round robin play should be ending shortly and we can then see how Roger's team does in the elimination playoff rounds.
