Jerrick Poole Takes An Issue With Jody 3 Moons

After New York Americans center Jody 3 Moons, in his usual outspoken manner, publicly criticized Sachimo Zoidberg for not making the playoffs after taking the scoring title in the final game, Jerrick Poole immediately took an issue with his comments.  Furthermore, 3 Moons continued to bash the entire Toronto Legion organization, calling Zoidberg the "1 good player on a shitty team".  While it may not have been 3 Moons' intention to call out an entire team, his comments certainly came across that way, forcing Legion defenseman Poole to release the following statement.

"Hey Jody, if you're so good, why didn't any team take you to be an important part of their rebuild?  Maybe you remember being drafted tenth overall to a team that just won the Continental Cup and the fact that you're far from the best player on your team.  Hell, you weren't even good enough to make the VHL last season and Sachimo scored more points than you in the VHLM too.  You're nothing more than mediocre and wouldn't even be on Toronto's first line so not sure why you're saying Zoidberg is our only good player anyways.  You just got lucky because all you did was give the puck to XXX.  Have fun being the weak link on a contender.  Because soon enough the Legion will blow you out of the water."

Strong words from the young defenseman who had a breakout season, finishing third among defensemen in points, second in the league in blocked shots and tenth in hits, good enough for fourth best of the league's dmen.  It should be interesting to see if this begins to spark a rivalry as the Legion begin to enter their prime while the Americans, a team loaded with veteran talent, begins to feel the effects of age.
