jRuutu 2,496
Ruutu´s first season in the VHLM has been a learning process. So far in the league he has scored only 1 goal. No assists. So 1+0 in 9 games. Not so great when you take into consideration his last season in Finland´s top league , Liiga , where he scored 9+12 in 40 games. There is still plenty of games to left and plenty of time to improve those scoring numbers. In other areas of the game Ruutu has been a dominating force, playing on his normal level. Leading the Ottawa Lynx in Hits and in penalty minutes. Ruutu´s intimidation level is one of the leagues highest , dirty mustache with 80´s mullet. Other players have to spend much more time looking over their shoulders when he is on the ice. Overall the first nine or so games have been a good start for whole Ottawa team , sitting on the 3rd spot in the standings. Only two points between Lynx and the number one position. Only time will tell if Ottawa and Ruutu manage to keep up the good form they are in right now.
