The Cold Hard Facts - Why PIMing = Winning

On the first episode of the PIMCast, I made a bold statement that shocked the hockey world as we know it,:

 

Those That PIM, Win.

 

Now it's time to bring out the cold hard facts that show why this is the undisputed truth and why general managers are now scrambling to get a hold of the best young PIMers in the game.

 

- The team that currently has the best record in the league currently has the most PIMs per game

 

- The top three teams in PIMs are also the top three teams in the American Conference

 

- The only team that has been eliminated from playoff contention, the Riga Reign, are last in PIMs.

 

- The Express are currently first in the European Conference in PIMs. As it's the only thing the Express leads the European Conference in, it also proves that Devise knows what's important.

 

- The only game that Edwin Encarnacion was ejected in this season was against the Quebec City Meute, who hold the best record in the league. The Wranglers, who hold the worst record in the American Conference, would go on to win the game.

 

- The Titans suck at PIMing, but they've got the most simmers/admin on their team, so you know what I'm not saying here.
