Faux along for the ride

With the season coming to an end, we take a look at the VHLM and see the Brampton Blades at the top of the league. They have the best offense in the league with many players at the top of the individual leaders and seem to be the favourite out of the North American Conference this season. One player that you'd think would be doing better is number one centre and captain Bronson Faux. He's draft eligible this year but has only seen his draft stock fall since declaring for the draft. While many players are atop the league in scoring, he is not one of them and ranks 6th on the team in points.

 

"I've been training, it just hasn't affected my play on the ice too much. It sucks to see week after week my draft stock plummet and the experts talking poorly of me but I guess it is what it is."

 

While he's still over point per game and leads the team in +/-, you'd think that he'd be one of the top scorers on the team. He has helped with one of the best faceoff percentages in the league but it's still not enough. Hopefully Bronson can up his play for the playoffs and help the Blades to a Founders Cup.
