probably not noah 346
Davos Dynamo captain Gifford Shock seems to have hit his stride in the VHL. After a shaky rookie season and a slow start to his sophomore year, Shock is finally performing like the prospect he was touted to be. The former third overall pick finished off the season with a nine game point streak. In that streak, Shock racked up 15 points, including three two goal games. The streak was highlighted by a four point night against the Seattle Bears. "It feels great to finally put up some numbers," Shock told VHL.com "I've always known I was capable of this, but it took awhile to get used to playing in the big leagues." Shock credits his success to patience and the support of his teammates and coach. "I got pretty discouraged midway through the season, but my teammates kept supporting me, and Coach Reilly kept me driven to practice." The Dynamo ended up missing the playoffs by five points, but Shock is optimistic for the future. "We've got a young team here. Everyone wants us to win right away, but that's not how it works. You've gotta have time. I think we're really starting to gel now, and I'm excited to see what happens when next season rolls around." Shock has said he's devoting his summertime to what he calls the three Cs of hockey: conditioning, coaching and cocaine.
