After a rough start to the season the Saskatoon Wild have seemed to have found a way to finally win. They have just won two games against Olso and are now sitting in a playoff spot. Their biggest win was a 5-4 shootout win against one of the top teams in the league in Bratislava. They have won five of their last six games which is a big improvement from the beginning of the season. The team is being led by forwards Hunter Backenbauer with 22 points and Scott Kibbie with 18 points. Winger Marcel Faux has seen improvements in his game in both ends of the ice. The forward is now just above point per game pace after struggling badly at during the first 10 games of the season. He now sits at 14 points in 22 games with an even rating and eight of his points are goals which is good for second in goal scoring for the Wild.

“I think it has mostly been about confidence. I was really tentative at the beginning of the season and I was not confident with the puck. After every game I have been gaining more confidence and now I feel like I can play in this league.”
