Will Hammer be defense man of the year?

On a team stacked with talent, MC Hammer knows what it takes to win. Coming in a second pairing defense man was hard for the rapper turned hockey player. Last season was greet with a lack luster performance, with Hammer finishing in the bottom half of points on the young Bern Royals. However this season he has been singing a different tune. Now paired with top defense man Chuck Goody, Hammer has been able to find his stride. He was leading all of the VHLM in assists but he has settled for leading all VHLM defense man in points. When asked about his new found success he was quoted talking about his new pairing and how it has been a world of change to be out there with someone so skilled as Goody. He also went on further to say that being on the ice with such a strong forward line as well was a lucky treat as they put the puck in the goal more than he thought he ever could. He started to prepare for next season in the VHL where they will be bigger and stronger. He hopes that when he gets there he will have the VHLM defense man of the year trophy with him
