With the playofs close to concluding, the next excitement is the draft and the off-season. While the draft is exciting especially for the rebuilding Reign who old the 4th and 5th overall picks, Faux's focus is somewhere else. It is the World Cup this season and he's particularly excited for that. Being from Canada, it is difficult to make the team but he is optimistic.

"I feel like I can help a lot. There's obviously going to be lots of scoring and that's where I can bring a different dimension with my size and hitting ability," said Faux. "Honestly I haven't looked at what the talent level is but I might be able to sneak in and play as a winger as maybe the last pick. I really hope I can make it this season."

With how Faux's career falls, he will have the oppurtunity to play in 3 World Cups. He was asked if he would play for Team Mercenaries if not picked by Canada.

"It would be tough. I'm Canadian proud and strong and really want to represent my country. At the same time it would be tough to say no to the experience if not picked by Canada. I really don't know, I'm torn."

Rumour has it that the rosters are being finalized as we write this so we will find out soon enough.
