Humbert Excited For World Cup

Two games in, soon to be VHL rookie Thaddeus Humbert is said to be excited for the World Cup. Playing on a team with future fellow Cologne teammates, Christoph Klose, Bismark Koenig and Ron World Peace, Humbert looks to gain some early chemistry and help represent his home country.

More importantly Humbert is excited to see the World Cup officials learn how to call a proper game, as opposed to the horrible officials in the VHLM. In two games Humbert has yet to take a penalty, a trend he hopes continues as he is supposed to be known for his discipline on the ice. He has had to adjust to the North American players diving, and overall selling of calls specifically tripping, hooking, and slashing. But he is confident that as he adjusts he will be one of the best defenders in the league who excels at defending, without needing to go for the big body check.
