The Toronto Legion locker room has been relatively quiet for the majority of the season, even despite my efforts to spice things up a bit. The main reasoning is simple - we don't have many players on the team. We've brought in some fresh faces, most notably Alistar Graves, who has brought some life to the team already. We also brought in a Toronto legend, David Knight, representative of David Blind. He's popped in a time or one, and hopefully we'll see some more of him. I'm primarily ready for the draft, which will at least give us an opportunity to add some more people to this team. I'm excited about the future and excited about the turnaround Toronto will be going for. I want to build a team atmosphere that is fun and competitive, that others will someday want to be a part of. It is going to take some work, we aren't quite there yet, but strides have already been made. The draft and the offseason could be crucial to how the future of the team looks, both from a talent standpoint and from a culture standpoint. I'm specifically looking for players that have the type of character that I want to represent Toronto, but I'll also be targeting talented individuals. Obviously the ideal candidate is a mixture of both. We have work to do, but I'm excited to get after it.
