Max Mølholt has already been assigned to the Toronto Legion through the GM recreate rule. Toronto forfeited a 2nd round draft pick from the Season 46 VHL Entry Draft to acquire his services, which is a nice price for the winger who likely could have been a Top 5, at least a Top 10 selection in the S45 VHL Entry Draft. Mølholt joins a Toronto team that is currently barren, going through a makeshift rebuild, even without their own pick in S45. The addition of Mølholt softens the blow of not having their own pick and only having a late 1st round pick.

In other news, that very same late 1st round pick could be used to select Marquis Hyvarinen, brother of Calgary Wranglers' player Kerkko Hyvarinen and an outspoken player who has requested all teams to pass on him in the draft so that he can become a free agent. Toronto could honor his wishes, but Hyvarinen will likely be selected by someone in the draft, so would the Legion try to beat them to the punch and convince Marquis to stay, or would they go after a player who is more likely to want to stay from the beginning?

The draft has been pushed back, so teams will have more time to negotiate picks in the upcoming draft. Toronto has a bunch of things in the works, but so far nothing has come from it. Frankly, thanks to previous ownership, the tradeable assets are few and far between, but Toronto will try to use them as best as possible. Could Toronto be in trade talks soon? Possibly!
