E'Twaun Delicious returned to full-time practice for the New York Americans this past week, a welcome addition for a team attempting to come up and become a true Continental Cup contender. Playing alongside top young talents such as Biggu Kyanon, Edwin Reencarnacion, Jorma Ruutu, Golden Jedtsson and Nicolas Caprivi, Delicious knows he needs to step it up and remind people that he was once seen as a pivotal part of this rebuild.

"I'm here, and I'm ready to work," Delicious said after the practice. "I may say a lot of things and talk myself up a lot, but I know that I need to be better for this team if we're gonna get to where we know we can be this season. I don't think people give us enough respect, so we need to go out and be prepared to earn that."

Whether or not Delicious can finally capitalize on his potential, it's good to see him finally be honest about his own productivity.
