Can you smell

What JR is cooking ? That is what my neighbors must be asking every time I´m making food. I like to keep my front door open so all the smells spread all over the building. Most of the time I have no idea what I´m doing in the kitchen but hey, at least I´m trying.

 

I like to keep it simple and only make something easy but healthy. I like spicy food so that is the part of cooking I would like to learn more about. It´s not easy to get everything just right.

 

I went and bought all kinds of spices and herbs some time ago and only now I have finally managed to test them all. Some smell quite nice but taste terrible. 

 

My personal favorites are rosemary,basil and thyme.  I finally understand why people are so obsessed with herbs, they are just awesome. Only the sky is the limit, you can do all kinds of crazy spice cocktails to spice up your food. Different thing if you can eat that food after that but from errors and mistakes you learn.
