For what has been happening throughout the whole season so far, Bern Royals' Zach Parechkin and Saskatoon Wild's MC Hammer have been tearing up the VHLM and both have quite a hefty lead on the players behind them in point production.

 

Not too long ago, MC Hammer had a big step on Parechkin in points, being as many as 20 ahead of of him at one part of the season, but now as it stands at the 64 game mark (63 for Zach Parechkin), they are both tied in goals, and Hammer only has a one point edge over Parechkin. Both the Bern Royals' and Saskatoon Wild's stars have 71 goals so far, which is probably more than any team could ask for in a player in the minor system. The big surprise right now is that Zach has quickly caught up with MC Hammer over the past week or so, and it is quickly developing into a very close race for that top spot.

 

After Zach Parechkin with 147 points, the next closest player in production is Arcturus Mengsk with 121 points, which is still amazing in its own right. After the 71 goals that Zach and MC have, the next closest in goals is the Oslo Storm's Giovanni Reuel with 40. It sounds pretty crazy that these two players have a 30 goal gap over the next best in scoring power, and the surprising thing is that each of these players' teams aren't exactly lacking in firepower without them.

 

Both the Bern Royals and Saskatoon Wild have well-balanced squads, and one has to maybe think about how they would be doing without these two on their teams. It is not out of the question that both the Wild and Royals could still have a strong team regardless, but there is no doubt that they are carrying those teams this season.
