Hybrid1486 577
The VHLM playoffs are underway, and the European series seems pretty interesting up to this point. The Bern Royals and the Oslo Storm are tied up at one game apiece, as Oslo won the first game 5 to 3 and Bern followed that up with a 3 to 0 shut out in the second. Interestingly, both teams managed 30 shots in the first game, yet in the second game Bern recorded 31 while Oslo only could get off eight. That kind of inconsistency is fairly uncommon in the VHL or the VHLM, and if the Storm want any hope of winning the series they will need to get back to where they were in the first game. Which ever team wins, they will be heavy underdogs in the European finals against the Moscow Red Wolves, who led the VHLM in points this season. As a sidenote, I wrote the bulk of this article using the dictation tool on my MacBook. It works pretty well, but there were a lot of times where I had to go back in and edit. It's helpful if you can't type for some reason, but if you want to talk you should probably just stick to podcasts.
