DollarAndADream 3,356
The Toronto Legion are horrible right now. How bad, you ask? Nobody asked? Well, that's too bad because I'm telling you anyways, so deal with it. In their past 3 games, the Legion have scored 2 goals. These come at a 5-0 loss to HC Davos Dynamo, a 4-1 loss to the Riga Reign, and a 4-1 loss to the Cologne Express. Are they finally coming down to Earth after an outstanding offensive start to the season? Who's to know? They definitely have firepower, but it just hasn't been clicking, and they have been getting severely out-shot in those games. It's not as if their goaltending has been bad, either. In the 5-0 loss to the Dynamo, TOR G wasn't amazing. I'll give you that. He did make 34 of 39 shots though, which is pretty good for a default goaltender. That's a .872 save percentage for anyone that is wondering. The shots were 39-22 for Davos, which wasn't actually that bad. In the game against the Reign which resulted in a 4-1 loss, TOR G saved 43 of 47 shots, for a save percentage of 0.915%. He/she very much kept Toronto in that game at all, while being heavily out-shot 47-17. It's no wonder that the Legion only scored 1 goal, and that goal was from superstar Max Molholt. Against the Cologne Express, another 4-1 loss, TOR G saved 46 of 50, for a great .920%. The shots were 50-19 in favour of Cologne, and when you get killed in shots like that, saving 92% of them is pretty slick. What Toronto needs right now is for rookie Zach Parechkin to start scoring again, and for World B. Free to start contributing again as well. Parechkin hasn't had a point since their 6-5 win against the Stockholm Vikings before this 3 game losing streak. He hasn't been shooting as much, with 2 shots against Davos, and 3 each against Cologne and Riga. The physicality with hits is still there, but Parechkin needs to start connecting.
