With plans stalled to launch the first season in line with the current VHL season. LHL league officials today announced that they are moving ahead with plans to start the 82 game season and still finish on schedule. The league stands to lose one of their top young players in Sir William Covington III who was drafted by HC Davos and he went against what he was saying all season last season that he will sign with teams he does not like. But he did sign that deal and now plays in the VHLM. But crisis was averted when Covington released a statement to the media.

"The team yet again sucks in Saskatoon, I want to win games now. So what am I to do? hmmm go play in Las Vegas and win there? I think so! I will still "play" for Saskatoon but I will not be giving it all on the ice for a team that continues to play the way we do. I will be giving the Las Vegas Debauchery my focus because they are my team. They actually are the long favorites to win it all this season. I would be insane to not play for them this season"

No one knows how long the LHL will be around but telling by the teams in the league they know it will be entertaining and exciting hockey. When to exactly expect these games to start no one really knows but sometime this week you should expect to hear about some games. Till then you can go back to your boring lives and your boring league.
