Shawn Muller has been a very undervalued player this year and has been overlooked when talking about the Rookies in the VHL. He is 6th in Rookie scoring with 20 goals and 29 assists. He is 11 points back of Joel Jarvi of the rookie lead. However, since Jarvi plays Cologne who really have no one put Jarvi playing defence for them is he really deserving? Same could be said about LeAndre St.Pierre of the Toronto Legion and Tom Lincoln of the Quebec City Meute. Both these players have 60 points but they play for none playoff teams meaning they really are the only scoring options for these teams. Wait but St.Pierre plays with Max Molholt and Zach Parechkin. Well yes he does and it proves offence isn't everything. If we look closer Shawn Muller is leading the team with a +16 while averaging 28 minutes a game. He is one of the first players over the boards on the PK along with Christoph Klose. If we look at St.Pierre he is a -46 which is tied for worst on Toronto with fellow rookie Pete Stockton. Tom Lincoln is also a -36 for the last place Meute. Jarvi is a -9 as well. Defence should account for something right?

*not a knock to the other guys, just needed to write something for 1 point*
