The S48 VHL Entry Draft is approaching quickly as within the next 48 hours teams will have decided on the prospect(s) that will lead them into battle in years to come. The one constant the last 7 years in the VHLM and VHL Entry Draft world has been the issuing of the VHLSC Draft Rankings. Well that constant is taking a bit of a different approach to how it conducts it's weekly rankings. Various sources have hinted that it will stop completely, but those are false reports and it is something that VHLSC has had to shoot down. However, some of the changes to the VHLSC have to do with VHL General Managers relying a little too much on it for their own homework as well as the tedious task it is for minimal reporting. Here are some changes described:

1. VHLSC will now be a by-weekly issue (every 2 weeks).

2. VHLSC will start tagging draftees to ensure they stay in the loop.

3. Because the VHLSC features writers who are the "assholes" of the league, they will start calling out VHLM GM's for prospect inactivity.

4. We will hold a spot for DT's player each season because he loves the rankings.

Also we should mention the change to go bi-weekly has been more so a thing a couple years in the making. Having rankings every week actually doesn't change the rankings all that much because at times prospects forget to show up to practice one week or simply do not update. Also in the case of any prospect that eventually will be drafted by Calgary, we want to ensure we aren't exposing their non-updating ways. Thank you for your time and god bless.
