Hail-the-Kings-LA-wins-Stanley-Cup-861LE

Miles Larsson was traded to the Quebec City Meute from the Riga Reign this offseason and he couldn't have made a better choice.

"Mike approached me about whether I wanted to go to Calgary or Quebec in a trade.  He presented both offers and asked me which one he should take.  I chose right.  I am so unbelievably lucky to win my second cup in my eight seasons in the VHL.  A lot of players don't even get the chance to win one.  This is a great group of guys and I'm glad I could help them win their first cup in franchise history."

In 13 playoff games, Larsson put up 15 points, 6 of which were goals, and 49 hits.  His point totals were second among Quebec skaters, behind just Wesley Kellinger with 17.  He had the highest plus/minus (+7), third highest hits (49) and the most penalty minutes (49) all while logging 27 minutes in ice time per game (the second lowest total out of any Helsinki and Quebec skaters)   His numbers should put him in heavy consideration for the Playoff MVP.
