Ted Doughty is off to play in the Young Stars game, the VHLM equivalent of the All-Star Game, for Thor's Avengers. While a break might've been nice for the youngster, a chance to showcase his skills is always something that he relishes.

The rookie defenseman is leading the Bern Royals in almost every major category. He's tops on the team in points (50), assists (37), hits (145), shots blocked (92) and average minutes played (27:44). He also ranks thirds in goals scored (13) behind only Kol Mikaelson (24) and Tony Pellerin (16). His -5 rating is troublesome, but on a team that has struggled to find wins and one that relies so heavily on Doughty, it's to be expected.

Doughty will head to the Young Stars game to play against teammates Joe Shenanigans and Kendrick E. Tsbagsuph-Diks (BER) who were selected by BOOM goes the Dynamite. Bern will have another player showing up for Thor's Avengers in young star sensation Thor Odinsson, the namesake behind Thor's Avengers. When asked about playing with and against his Royals' teammates, Doughty had this to say.

It'll be fun to play with Thor, hopefully we can get some plays going and rack up some points. Diksy knows what he's in for in the corners and I've been wanting to plaster Shitnanergans into the boards forever. Having that chance without getting thrown out of practice will be fun. I'm looking forward to it and I'm sure it'll be a great experience.
