Aeschylus Jigglejawns CXXXVII don't take no shit

Aeschylus Jigglejawns CXXXVII made some waves in VHL circles the other week. Not because of his talent or standing as a prospect, mind you -- it was his interesting name that seemed to fuel the peoples' interest. The 17 year old defenseman will play one more year in the Greek juniors before signing with the Muffins agency as an advance prospect for the Season 52 VHL draft, according to recent reports. Jigglejawns CXXXVII hasn't taken to his newfound fame well, however.

 

"Yeah, I got a funny name. 'Jigglejawns, haha' all that bullshit. I don't give a shit. They can laugh at me all they want, but when they're facedown on the ice with three less teeth in their mouth, and I'm on my way to hoisting whatever BS they call their best defenseman trophy, I'll be the one snickering."

 

It's an interesting view point from a player that hasn't done anything to prove his worth on the VHL stage yet. He seems to take pride in his role as an enforcer, however, so it'll be interesting to see how his game translates to the world's second best professional hockey league.
