Banackock 8,048
After 6 games into the regular season schedule of the 50th year for the VHL, Sven Wolf has been a significant disappointment to the fans. While expectations were high, they may have been slightly unrealistic. While he has amazing potential and will likely succeed at maintaining a rate of development that will help him reach it sooner rather than later, a lot have been caught off guard by how slow his current start is to his rookie season. When approached about the issue, this is what GM of the Bears, Blake Campbell, had to say about the young center. Compared to other players, the elite ones, even depth ones around the league - he's much lower when it comes to size and league experience. While he has all the talent potential in the world, he's yet to reach those levels and that's fine. Any great manager, scout, teammate or fan knows that these things take time. Does it suck for him that he's off to a slow start? Sure. It lowers his career numbers, but he's doing his part right now in the face off dot and we couldn't be more happier to have a player like him on our roster this season.
