While the Stockholm Vikings aren't expected to be some offensive juggernaut, they find themselves in a situation that they could not even have expected.  The Vikings currently sit 2-22-2, which isn't necessarily too surprising, but a little disappointing from a team that has a decent goaltender and some promising young talent featured up front.  The most significant reason for their troubles is their league worst twenty-nine goals for.  How bad is this? The next worst offensive team in the league is the Calgary Wranglers who have fifty-three goals.  When talking to their General Manager, this is what he had to say: “We knew this would be an adjustment year, but I’d be lying if I said I expected us to struggle this much offensively.  We do have some talent though and I expect that as I tweak some strategies and lines, that we could see Essian and Diana step their game up and start producing more.  We won’t be a top team this year, but we could at least gain some confidence going into the next season.”

The Vikings have especially felt this struggle of late as they have recorded just eleven goals in their last fifteen games.  Additionally, they have surrendered forty-five goals over this same span.  Things aren’t going well in Stockholm right now, so what can they do to change their fortune?
