The Calgary Wranglers’ playoff run in Season 50 was a short one, as they were quickly dispatched in four games by the Quebec City Meute.  It was a disappointing end to what was, in the end, a very successful season for the Wranglers, who in the eyes of many were still in a rebuild by the time S49 ended.  But with many top young players on the roster, as well as the acquisition of star goalie Ariel Weinstein in the offseason, Calgary was able to make a big step by moving out of their rebuild.

But with Toronto’s netminder and surefire hall of famer Hans Wingate retiring after this season, along with many of Quebec’s players possibly hitting the free agent market, it seems as if Season 51 will be even more important than the last for the Wranglers.  At the moment, the sky's the limit for Calgary - if their young guns continue to improve, and if the front office can make some big moves in the offseason, who knows how well they could do?
