SWC3 Speaks out ahead of Game 7

Sir William Covington III is making waves. Not with his play in the playoffs but for his lack of production. Some Dynamo fans have said that he is lazy and if the team loses its on him. But none of what the fans and other people are saying bothers SWC3 because he knows that his lack of points is just one side of the story. "If they want to look at stats sure I have been doing shit all, aside for winning game 2 in double OT. But my job here is not just to lead the team in stats but its to lead the team. I am keeping the guys focused on the game to game basis. I told them not to focus on the whole series but game to game. Toronto is big and bad and no one gave use a chance to win a game let alone three. Toronto is doing all the right things to keep me from playing my game, is it frustrating? sure it is but to see guys like Mully, Toots and Roberts stepping up it shows that I am doing leading the right way. They see that their captain is being isolated and kept off the score sheet so they know they have to work that much harder to win games for us. They have done a great job. Game 7 is a huge game for us, this is David v. Goliath I would love to say David always wins but that's not always true. I would love for my last game in a Dynamo jersey to end with a Cup. I would love to hoist that cup and skate around the ice feeling proud to be a Dynamo for one last time. It would be a great way to get paid for all the years of suffering I played through. I took pay cuts so they could bring these guys in. I think that they only way this time with this team can possibly end is with a cup"

 

With SWC3 leaving for free agency this of-season this really is now or never for Davos. The team is expected to implode the roster in the off-season and begin a rebuild process. While SWC3 is only looking to get paid like he deserves and only play for one of the two top contending teams next season. He wants to win as many cups as he can before he moves onto the NHL. So buyer beware he will only take one year contracts.
