Smarch 3,153
Good year to be a rookie Each season the VHL see a new crop of players enter the league, ready to hit the ice in their rookie seasons in the chase for the Christian Slotzschweiger Trophy. This season the league is seeing a dry spell in terms of rookies with only six rookies suiting up for VHL clubs this season. Of course this is a very concerning stat for the league as it means less players are making it to the big leagues once drafted, or that we are seeing less players declare for drafts, or a combination of both. This season the group of rookies is led by Seattle Bears defenseman Guntis Petenis, who has put up two goals and thirteen assists in the twenty-six games the Bears, have taken part of. With the lowest point total for a rookie of the year winner being sixty points, will the VHL see a lower total this season? *For Snatch* Edited October 7, 2016 by Smarch Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/34332-slotzy/ Share on other sites
