TheLastOlympian07 2,388
1. Calgary Wranglers - 5/8 = 62.5% 2. Hamilton Canucks - 3/7 = 42.9% 3. Vasteras IK - 2/5 = 40.0% 4. Amstel Tigers - 3/8 = 37.5% 5. Helsinki Titans - 2/7 = 28.5% 6. Seattle Everblades - 2/7 = 28.5% 7. Stockholm Thunder - 2/7 = 28.5% 8. Toronto Legion - 1/7 = 14.3% Looking back at the Season 1 VHL Dispersal Draft, out of the 56 players taken, I would say only 20 of them hit though. This means 37.1 percent of the draft were player who were taken and went on to have great careers. It is very interesting to think that 36 players did not pan out. However, there are some very close players who are on the cusp of being hits but still. 36 players in the largest draft class in VHL history have missed. Calgary were the best team from start to almost finish as they drafted very well hitting on 5/8 picks. They went 69-3 on route to a finals appearance. The Hamilton Canucks were the 2nd with 3/7 but couldn't put it together and missed the playoffs. The best European team was Vasteras IK who went 2/5 and won the Continental Cup in Season 1 with arguably the best player in VHL history with Scotty Campbell. The other teams were middle of the pack and stuff except for Toronto who went 1/7 on route to winning the 1st Overall Pick in Season 2. On another note, Shawn Muller won a cup first time since S41 and first active cup since S6. Next I am looking to play on a team willing to pay me 5.5 million as I need that amount to reach 10 million so I can buy old but not forgotten.
