The Riga Reign are your defending champions and they now have a huge target on their backs. Night in and night out, they are getting the best that every team has to offer and it has led to second place standing in what is considered the "weak" European Conference. Kronos assured the masses that the Reign were not panicking.

It's pretty early in the season and I think we are still getting over that championship hangover. After winning the big one, it is really hard for teams to find the motivation. I think we've done a pretty good job of staying competitive. Things like we have seen with the Toronto Legion isn't normal. A lot of teams aren't able to compete for titles five years at a time. We got ours last year and I've made it part of my personal goals to try to be the voice that keeps everyone striving for number two. This team may not have the same roster as last year but we still have enough talent to walk away with another cup if we commit to it. Hell, I don't think people really gave us a chance against Toronto last year.

With Kronos returning to practice again, people seem to speculate if things go sour for the Reign this season he could be one of the first ones out the door on the trade block to bring back rebuild assets.

I signed with Riga because I wanted to be in Riga again. I didn't give them my all last season and I felt like I owed it to them to give them a season where I put my foot on the pedal and tried to see what I was able to do. They control my fate and if they decide that they can get some assets for me, I wouldn't fault them for it. I am still a relatively young player in the scheme of things. I'm not a franchise cornerstone for this team by any means, but I think I can contribute no matter the team direction. With our conference being as weak as it is, I think it wouldn't be hard for us to make a deal for one of the teams in the other conference. They have more competitive teams than they do playoff spots over there. FAs seem to favor those teams and then they get to sit at home and watch other teams compete.

Titan Kronos has turned his focus from being the flashy, look at me guy, to be a team first glue guy. He says the transition wasn't an easy one.

I don't have enough talent to talk shit like I used to. When I was coming into the league, I had time on my side to pan out and become something great. My time left is almost half of what it was then. I'm not the type to run my mouth if I can't back it up. Talk to me at the end of the season and see how confident I am in my abilities.
