Shankly is in ax Xmas Mood!

So we are well into the season now and since Shankly’s been doing nothing but hitting in his hockey games, he figured he should HIT the shops to get some Christmas shopping under his belt. 

 

Shankly was obviously drafted by the Americans and that means that he’s had to move to the Big Apple. Reports from the press indicate that he is out almost every night exploring the city. So we thought we’d ask him about it:

 

“It’s the city of love” he said. “I mean, I’m not sure if it is, but when we Brits think about romanticism in America, it is often this city we are picturing. It’s the Christmas season and so there’s something magical in the air. I would love to meet a girl in a coffee shop or something to that effect. I’m not actively running around the city looking for it – I’ve got a whole lot of gifts to get and send home, but I would be lying if I said that I didn’t have my eyes and ears open when I am in a coffee shop or walking through the park.”
