Oslo Storm vs Ottawa Lynx

 

At the first look, Oslo is better and they are going to take this series, but it's not so easy. After looking the head-to-head record, we can realize that Ottawa actually can pull a little surprise. Even though it's not gonna be a surprise - they are 7:3 against the Storm and Oslo will be in trouble, if Cornerstone, Locke and Jacob will continue to show their best. Are you hyped enough? Probably not, but this series are gonna be like classic 4th vs 5th place matchups, that's for sure.

 

Semifinals

 

Bratislava Watchmen vs Oslo Storm/Ottawa Lynx

 

I'm sure it's going to be a hard walk for us, but we have a 8-3 record against both teams, so we know how to beat them. I still think Oslo is a little bit tougher, but you can't count Ottawa yet. My extra hopes are for an attack - if they are on fire, we are almost unstoppable.

 

Yukon Rush vs Saskatoon Wild

 

There are no doubts Saskatoon will crush Bern so let's go to this series. It's a paradox for Yukon, but while this team are 7-2 against Bratislava, they still have a pain in the ass who didn't allow them to fight for the first place in regular. The Wild is 7-3 against the Rush and they have a really good chances to make the finals for the second season straight, if Yukon will struggle against a powerful Sasky's defence.
