YUKON, Canada - With the initial excitement of his declaration to enter the VHLM Draft now subsided, young Swiss forward Rudolph Schmeckedorf finds himself anxiously awaiting for his chance to play to play in the VHLM. He has spent the last few days soaking in some VHLM action, attending current playoff games, such as the game seven nailbiter semi-final game between the Yukon Rush and the Saskatoon Wild; a game in which the Rush managed to hold on and defeat the Wild by a score of 3-2, sending them to the VHLM Finals to face off against the Bratislava Watchmen, who handidly defeated the Ottawa Lynx in five games to advance. When asked for his comments on the finals, Schmeckeldorf had this to say, "I don't really have a preference to which teams wins obviously, as long as the winner wins the series quickly since I really just want to get out there onto the ice. However I do know that my agent will be cheering for the Watchmen, since they're Bagelface's former team.
