Axelberry pulls himself

Vernon Von Axelberry did something in a recent game that made a few people scratch their head. In mid play, while his team had the puck in the opponents zone (one of the rare few times) Axelberry took out a sign that he neatly put in his pads and proceeded to unfold it. Then he taped it to the net. It was only after he started to skate away from the net did fans see that the sign read "Be back in a few, not like we're gonna win" Axelberry starred down his coach who was yelling at him to get back in net since as he said "We're only down by three, get the fuck back in there" Axelberry did not listen to his coach, he high fived fans as headed to the locker room to do god knows what. When he came back on the ice Oslo was no losing by five, Axelberry shrugged it off and gingerly skated back to his net and drank from a flask. He clearly was more interested in getting drunk then helping his team win. At the end of the game Axelberry was told that the league has decided to count the two goals that were scored on a empty net against him because he deserted his team and net to which Axelberry said "That's bullshit, I wasn't in net, I did not let in those fucking goals"
