Shawn Muller is playing his last games in the VHL and it is a bittersweet moment for me. I have never had a player as successful as Shawn Muller and with the way the VHL works I may never seen one as successful as Muller again. That doesn't mean I won't try and even if I succeed Muller will always hold a special place in my heart because he was the first player I put 100% effort into. So far in his career he has played 67 playoff games, scored 31 playoff goals and assisted on 39 playoff goals for a total of 70 playoff points. This ties him for 30th all time in playoff scoring with the likes of Devon De La Soul, Grimm Jonsson, Max Molholt and Troy Athera. That is some great company to be in as 3 of those players are Hall of Famers. Maybe the voters will take into consideration that Muller was a great playoff scorer because with at least two more games to play he can get 2 more points possibly more if the series goes longer as Muller has 4 goals and 10 assists for 14 points in 9 playoff games. Him and Kohler have been lighting it up in the playoffs and have carried the Vikings to this point with the help of World B. Free. It has been a great ride and I cant wait to see where Muller ends up in playoff scoring because he would need 9 more points to crack top 20 in playoff scoring.
