Advantage 2,891
DEXTER LANE: SHOCKING THE VHLM WITH HIS OFFENSE Dexter Lane is not exactly known for his offensive talents. One Victory Hockey League scout had this to say on the young prospect: "He won't blow you away offensively. In fact, he probably will never be anything more than a mediocre offensive player. His strength is in his defensive play and physicality. Other than that, he is completely useless." However, thus far to the season, Dexter Lane has showed this scout and many others that he is far more than a one trick pony. Lane, who was drafted by the Las Vegas Aces, is taking in his team's dominant start by being a massive contributor to their success. Thus far he has recorded four goals, twenty assists and twenty-four points in eighteen games. Additionally, he has recorded forty-two hits and twenty blocked shots which puts him around the top ten in both categories as well. This season could not have gone better thus far, and Lane may just move up in the rankings given his stellar offensive production and typical stifling defensive play. One thing is for sure, Lane is in the right position to not only find individual success but potentially win a Founder's Cup as well.
