Time for a re-match

The Stockholm Vikings are starting the season strong, after having played 30 games, they managed to win 28 of them, while only losing once in regular time (the other being an overtime loss). This currently places them 6 points ahead of the Quebec City Meute who are on three losses and three overtime losses in second place overall. This comes to a suprirse of many, as the highest scoring team is actually the New York Americans (with 50 points in third overall place). The Americans are actually playing the best hockey so far as next to scoring the most goals, they also had the lowest amount of goals ahead.

The main problem for the Americans this season seems to be to tie up the games again in which they are behind, causing them to have five losses in regular time this season instead of being able to make it to overtime as the Meute and the Vikings have been doing.

The Vikings look to cruise in their conference and hope that they will indeed get the opportunity to finally take revenge versus the Americans, to finally get a cup in Stockholm
