HO LEE FOOK

 

The much anticipated announcement from the Draper player agency on the next player they would represent finally came down yesterday, with the agency choosing to offer its representation to young defenseman Ho Lee Fook. Since opening some 17 seasons ago, the agency has cultivated a very positive reputation for itself by formerly representing the likes of Donald Draper and Aleksi Koponen, as well as current player John Locke and now Ho Lee Fook. 

 

Their newest addition hails from Hong Kong where he grew up playing locally alongside friend and current VHL player Fook Yu @tfong, before eventually moving to Canada to pursue a career in one of the worlds premier hockey leagues, the VHL. While his name has caused 'confusion' since arriving in North America, Ho Lee Fook's play has spoken for itself and with the scouts of the VHL currently on the hunt for top-tier defenseman perhaps more than any other position, you can bet Lee Fook's declaration to join the VHLM is a welcome and exciting sight for VHL managers.

 

Ho Lee Fook is a quick, agile, and offensively capable defenseman. Upon declaring his eligibility for VHLM play, he was quickly snatched up by GM @Laflamme of the Yukon Rush. While Yukon has a fairly abysmal record so far in the season, Lee Fook, ever the good sport, was quick to express appreciation to the team that chose him and stated he was looking forward to helping the Rush try to turn their season around. Regardless, Lee Fook will appear in the upcoming S55 VHLM Dispersal Draft at the end of the season where he will surely be a sought after prospect to play in S55. 

 

Barring any tragic circumstances such as death or dismemberment, it is then a foregone conclusion that in a bit over a seasons time Lee Fook will be in the S56 VHL Entry Draft. It's a little too far out to make any reasonable predictions as to where he will end up, but it is expected there will be lots of demand for high quality defenseman. With several other promising defenders declared for the S56 draft, there will no doubt be some friendly competition among them to stand out from the rest. 

 

The Draper agency in a statement stated that they were eager and excited to have the opportunity to take advantage of the recent change in VHL policy allowing them to represent up to two players at once, and that they were thrilled to have a player of Ho Lee Fook's caliber under their representation. John Locke jokingly said to reporters that he hoped the addition of Lee Fook would compel the team at the Draper agency to 'stop calling me so god damn always'.
