TheLastOlympian07 2,388
Shawn Gretzky's climb to the top of the rookie leader board has seemed to plateau at 5th in the top 10 with 27 goals and 23 assists for 50 points. Marc-Alexandre Leblanc and Roman Sokolov are tied for third with 53 points each. Sokolov is a defenseman for the Toronto Legion who has scored 19 goals and assisted on 34 goals for 53 points. Leblanc on the other hand is a centerman for the Riga Reign and has scored 26 goals while assisting on 27 goals for 53 points. Only Sokolov doesn't really have a high scoring teammate of those in the top three. Quebec City Meute winger John Locke is 2nd with 33 goals and 29 assists for 62 points. He is playing on the top team in the league. Fred Krigars is the leading rookie point getting with 27 goals and 38 assists for 65 points. Him and Leblanc seemed to have formed a pretty formidable duo in Latvia this season. It will be interesting to see if Gretzky can break into the top three, however the ROY will just go to the player with the most amount of points because well it always does no matter what.
