Tagger 2,722
Canada – Roadhog Team Canada is set up pretty well at the minute with the highest overall team in the sim at the minute at 62 overall, however they do currently lack some physical defensemen as only Black Velvet has currently added points into checking (along with having the 40 strength Motherfucker Sharpe, arguably the weakest goon in VHL history). Enter Roadhog; the heaviest close-range hitter in the game and the Overwatch character you’d least want to come up against in a small room. He’s going to hit you and it’s going to hurt! Europe – Mei Team Europe is looking pretty good at the forward position, but their defensemen and goalie units are the weakest in the tournament, so they need someone who can act as if they were a wall in net whilst also being able to freeze opponents in their tracks on defense. Sounds like the perfect job for the a-Mei-zing Chinese defensive unit who’s no stranger to ice! Mercenaries – Lucio Because the nature of the Mercenaries team being centered around the concept of picking from the best available players that didn’t make it onto their own rosters, they will naturally struggle to be one of the stronger teams in the tournament. One area where that’s very apparent is their current rosters’ lack of mobility; while every other team has at least two players with at least 90 skating, Team Mercenaries most mobile player, Daryl Dortch, is only at 83 skating. When you need mobility, the guy you look to is the Brazilian Lucio Correia Dos Santos. Not only does he have an ability to ride on walls that allows him to get to places in ways only heroes with flight can achieve, he also has the particularly useful ability of speeding up not only himself, but also everyone around him. Plus, he’s a big hockey fan! Scandinavia – Soldier 76 Scandinavia has one very obvious weakness; they need offensive talent and lots of it. Soldier 76 is very much like the Public Enemy song in that he most certainly “brings the noise” in the form of a very effective pulse rifle, powerful rocket launchers and an ultimate ability that simply won’t allow him to miss the shot. USA - Reaper Like Team Canada, USA don’t currently possess a lot of physical players. In fact outside of Brock Dragonslayer and Diana Maxwell, not one of their players has over 70 checking. So for a change in this article, we’ll give them someone who, if they were a hockey player, would have been eligible to play for them and give them Reaper. Like Roadhog, Reaper is another hero who can make short work of an opponent at close range. World – Sombra World don’t really have that much in terms of weaknesses because they have the best backup goalie in the world (That .850 percentage is a lie), so we’ll give ‘em Sombra because, fuck it, someone needs to use her right? @Higgins For Threencarnac Edited May 28, 2017 by YEAH!stlemania Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/40739-claimed-which-overwatch-hero-would-best-assist-each-world-cup-team/ Share on other sites
