Miles Larsson, former member of the Riga Reign, and Quebec City Meute scored his first NHL goal with the Vancouver Canucks, the team that signed him one season ago.

"It feels great to finally get that one off my back.  I've had some great opportunities so far this season, and I'm glad I was able to contribute so quickly."

Larsson quickly signed with Vancouver before the beginning of Season 35.  He has spent most of this season in Utica, New York with the Comets, Vancouver's AHL team.  So far this season with Utica, Larsson has 10 goals and 12 assists, for 22 points in 30 games.  He has played 3 games with Vancouver, scoring one goal and adding an assist as well.

"He's played a very physical game and has gone to all the dirty areas, so it was good to see him pot one.  If he keeps working on his game, he could become a regular next season." - John Tortorella.
