Maxwell Well On Her Way To Lead The League In Scoring

Diana Maxwell was widely considered the most sought after free agent this past off-season. The longtime American point getter was coming off a couple of big seasons, and most agreed she would be likely to be the best forward in the league in Season 55. Probably even beyond too. After deciding to return to the Americans for a few more seasons, Maxwell was once again reunited with Unassisted, in his final season.

As expected Maxwell has been lighting the lamp, and getting the points. While she has gone a "little" cold of late, most notably in the goal scoring department, as Franchise Cornerstone currently holds a tenuous 2 goal lead over Boeser, Ravenwing and Maxwell. Cornerstone has scored 36 goals in 48 games, with the other three just behind at 34. But despite going cold Maxwell still enjoys a rather healthy points advantage, as she currently leads all players in the points department. Maxwell has a walloping 78 points in 49 games played, which puts her 9 points ahead of the next closest competition.

Provided she closes out the season strong, there is no doubt she will add another strong season to what could be a strong career for HoF consideration.
