Verner in Game Mode with Legion

Verner Reinholdt has been a perfect fit with the Toronto Legion. The "aged" forward really found good chemistry with Bo Boeser early in Season 55, and the benefits are beginning to be reaped as both sit above a point per game paced in their first season despite both being rookies. While Toronto hasn't won as many games as they may of liked, they still sit 13 points behind the Wranglers for the third playoff spot in the North American conference. However that hasn't stopped the Legion rookies from playing as if there season is on the line. They want to use this opportunity to test their mettle, and continue trying to perform under high pressure. 

 

While winning a Cup in Season 55 is certainly more than a pipe dream for the young Legion, playing so many competitive games even against far better teams is a great sign for the future. There is belief that the Legion will be one of the contending teams in a few seasons time, and the young core that makes up their team from Ironside to Sokolov to Boeser to Lane to Verner, should be able to lead the charge in that regard.
