Rumors are circulating that Season 55 could be the end of the current "core" run from the New York Americans. While a lot of the players on the team are sure to fine new great homes in a firesale, one player who still remains a question mark is MT Power. After shutting out the Stockholm Vikings in Game 7 of the Season 53 Continental Cup Final, Power has played back up to Jakab Holik the rest of his career. While his practice hours are down, he's still is showing up and putting some work in.

This begs the question, will any team be interested in the service of Power? As a back up or as a starter one has to wonder with the goalie pool so rich and competitive if the S52 netminder could even find a home. Power remains optimistic that there may be a fit for him somewhere, even if it's just holding the bench and playing in 8 games a season, he should be able to tag along with some solid team. We'll have to wait until the S55 offseason begins before we know what will happen.
